About Us

The infrastructure
behind working
capital programs.

Runway builds and operates the platform that connects businesses seeking working capital with institutional capital providers — end to end.

What Runway Does

We are the infrastructure
between capital and commerce.

Businesses have working capital locked in their supply chains and receivables. Institutional capital providers want short-duration, asset-backed yield. Runway sits between them — originating, structuring, confirming, and managing the programs that connect both sides.

Our Role

What “full infrastructure”
actually means.

Runway doesn’t just introduce businesses to funders and step aside. We build, manage, and operate every part of the program — for its entire life.

Origination
Runway sources and qualifies new programs through direct outreach, referral partners, and inbound inquiries. Every opportunity is reviewed before entering the pipeline — funders only see pre-vetted deals.
Structuring
We design each program around the specific dynamics of the business — terms, advance rates, eligibility criteria, concentration limits, and documentation — ensuring the structure works for both the business and the funder.
Onboarding
Runway manages the entire onboarding process for all participants — anchor buyers, suppliers, and funders — using AI-assisted KYC, counterparty screening, and document verification. For non-disclosed ARF, Suppliers use their own platform credentials to pass invoice data to Runway — Runway never receives access to those credentials.
Program Servicing
Day-to-day program operations — invoice verification (disclosed or non-disclosed), supplier payment processing across hundreds or thousands of counterparties, reserve management, exception handling, and settlement — are all managed by Runway throughout the life of each program.
Reporting & Analytics
Every participant has access to role-appropriate reporting through their portal — buyers see program utilisation, suppliers see payment status, funders see portfolio analytics. All updated in real time.
Risk Management
AI-powered monitoring runs continuously across all active programs — flagging payment anomalies, concentration risks, and counterparty signals before they become problems. Runway’s operations team acts on every alert.

Technology at the Core
AI isn’t a feature. It’s how we operate.
Runway uses artificial intelligence throughout the program lifecycle — not as a marketing claim, but as genuine operational infrastructure. AI accelerates due diligence, automates routine servicing tasks, monitors risk signals continuously, and surfaces exceptions that require human judgment.

Why Runway Exists

A gap worth closing.

The Problem
Working capital programs are hard to access and expensive to run.
Supply chain finance and accounts receivable finance are powerful tools — but they’ve historically required large in-house treasury teams, expensive platform licenses, and complex bank relationships to set up. Businesses outside the largest corporates rarely had access. Funders had no efficient way to deploy capital without taking on significant operational burden.
The Opportunity
Technology makes it possible to run these programs better, faster, and at scale.
AI-assisted due diligence, automated servicing, and purpose-built portals eliminate most of the operational cost that made SCF and ARF inaccessible. Runway was built to deliver institutional-grade working capital infrastructure to companies that previously couldn’t access it — and to give capital providers a clean, managed way to deploy into trade finance.
“Runway exists to make institutional-grade working capital accessible to every business that needs it — with full transparency, no hidden fees, and programs structured around the client’s needs.”
